Campaign Status - Walk Through (Lightning)

NOTE: Some of these items shown are for a planned future release - Version 3.0. This release has not yet been released.

Launch AAKonsult Campaign Status from the Salesforce App Launcher.

If you have Campaign Status Defaults Set, then these will appear in the list view. You may either click on one of the record, or click the new button. Ultimately you will be taken to a screen that will enable you to add or edit regardless.

After clicking on new, you will be taken to a screen that looks like below

We've selected Telemarketing, which has no default action and values set. Click Next and we will get the values screen appearing to the right

At this point you may see a green confirmation indicating Records Updates, this means that our upper level record (the campaign status default) has been created. The grid to the right however, will be empty, as there are no values (child objects) set for this campaign status default.

Focussing our attention to the right hand side grid, there are two controls, a plus button next to the blank line at the end of the grid (or the top if no existing values), and a save button. Here we can add our first Campaign Status Default Value. Notice we've added default. You'll need to set one of the values you create as default for things to work correctly later.

Pressing Add will commit the Value Line and commit the record, there is no need to save after adding a line, we only need to do that after we change the priority order or edit one of the existing values.

Add more lines, after which, you can feel free to change the names of the existing values or the sequence order.

The save reminder will disappear on saving.

From this point on, campaigns will have the new statuses available as configured. When we are ready to retrospectively apply campaign statuses to existing campaigns, the Mass Update button is availble to allow us to kick off an update job in the background.

The Type will be selected for the screen you are working in, to simply run this for all existing campaigns, don't change any options below and hit confirm. Otherwise, if you wish to only update a segment of campaigns, there are 3 filter options below.

Clicking Confirm will give us a confirmation that a batch job is submitted. Depending on how many campaigns need updating, this shouldnt take too long.

You can see the success or failure in the campaign status edit screen, along with information about the last batch run - successes, errors and time completed.

You can see the end result by finding a campaign of the type for which the Mass Update was run. You'll notice new member statuses in the related list, and a lightning component to always show a list view of the member statuses.
