Do we now need to start paying?

If you are on the free App, it will remain free providing you do NOT upgrade.  Once you upgrade, you will need to pay

Sorry, previous versions are now archived and no longer accessible

 
 

Is there a time limit for when I need to upgrade or start paying?

At this point in time, we have no plans to force free subscribers to upgrade.  

If at any stage, should Salesforce make a change that means that App stops working, then you would then need to upgrade to a supported version.  At the time of this FAQ creation, we are not aware of any such item.

 
 

What am I missing out on with the free App?

You do not have access to support.  You can still access this help site for self support.

You will also be missing out on future upgrades.  Now that this is a paid App, we plan to use the funds to enhance the product.

At this point in time, there are just a few minor improvements in error management and reporting of errors between the versions.  As mentioned, this gap will grow over time.

 
 

Why are you charging for the App now?

We developed the App and made it publicly available as part of the good community spirit. Unfortunately, the cost of supporting and keeping things compliant became too much for us.  We have now started to charge so that we can cover our own costs and will invest any extra back into the product to provide even more value for customers.
